CGM History CGM Security Solutions, Inc. was established as a manufacturer in February 1977. We have manufacturing sites in Staten Island, NY, Mexico City, China and Somerset, NJ. Our main product focus is divided into two areas. The first is a series of tamper-evident technologies designed to identify pilferage and physically protect unattended cargo in boxes, courier packs, envelopes, drums, on pallets or in trailers. In this regard we offer high technology adhesives in the form of tamper evident packaging tapes and label type seals as well as metal band seals, tamper evident pallet covers, steel locking bars and cable and bolt seals. In addition we offer a full line of custom tamper evident security bags and high security fiber drums. Our second business platform is the protection of bundled assets as one may find in sea containers, rail cars or most commonly, in tractor trailers or straight trucks. This product line is a series of different high security systems which lock out the air brakes independently in tractors and trailers, electronic seals for security of sea container doors, swing door locks for storage containers and for trailers and glad hand and king pin locks for portable protection. Each patented product is designed to address areas of containment through a barrier to entry systems approach. Our product line is made up of patented products owned and manufactured by CGM or our strategic partners. We have a consulting and technical staff that can deal with issues of threat assessment and product choice to best offer a timely, deployable and cost effective solution to risks of loss or economic terrorism.
