CGM Security Solutions, Inc. offers a series of high security Cable Seals, specifically designed to secure swing doors on trailer and cargo containers. All seals can be customized in size and cable thickness. They can have custom laser etched decoration to include bar codes, logos, tandem numbers or other unique designs.
Cable Seals come in two distinct types. These include fixed and variable length pull tight construction. The C-06 is a pull tight design with a barrel and end cap displaying the same laser etch number. The barrel has a unique rosette design making inserting an altered or manipulated cable impossible. CABLES SHOULD ALWAYS BE PULLED THROUGH THE HASP TIGHTLY SO AS TO AVOID ANY SLACK!
Our C-06 Cable can also incorporate data retention memory buttons to enhance its utility.
All Cable Seals are sequentially numbered and simple to inspect, apply and remove with the proper tools. Our plastic can be impregnated with special validation features such as Ceramic Phosphors for quick authentication.
These innovative cargo security seals address security issues while offering a competitive price, and compatible physical structure without disturbing normal cargo security seal application, use or monitoring protocols. The cable of the C-06 is a "multi-strand", flexible steel cable made of individually plated strands ensuring rust resistance, and ease of application which require bolt cutters for removal.
Cable Seals offer strength over a great distance along with the assurance of positive locking security. All Bolt Seals including our own can be circumvented in container or truck applications, so when choosing a seal be certain that the appropriate device type is selected.
Cable seals and lock bars keep the doors closed while bolts can only secure the handle to the container!
