Practically every corrugated box requires tape to seal it. Standard clear sealing tapes and tapes with logos provide little protection against theft, relatively little in the way of identity or authenticity and no defense against surreptitious entry. To meet the special needs of those responsible for the secure transportation of valuable merchandise, CGM-AST, Inc. has created a patented self-wound tamper evident carton sealing tape called SECURE T.R.A.C.
SECURE T.R.A.C can be applied as you would any normal carton seal tapes, either by automated mechanical dispensers or by hand tape guns. SECURE T.R.A.C. is available in widths of 2” and 3”. Standard length rolls are 250’, but custom lengths from 180' up to 2000’ can be provided for automated applications. SECURE T.R.A.C. is sequentially numbered every 9 lineal inches, providing an easy to inspect audit trail for the box or pallet. Sequential numbering gives instant identity to the generic box or courier package.
The purpose of SECURE T.R.A.C. is to provide physical visual evidence of tampering by revealing a hidden message if the tape has been breached. SECURE T.R.A.C. tape cannot be resealed or taped over due to its silicone face coat.
SECURE T.R.A.C. can be customized with your company name or logo . The standard hidden message ("VOID" or "OPEN") can be customized with any language or copy. SECURE T.R.A.C. tape is available in red, blue, brown, green, orange, gray, black or custom colors. It is available in polyester or polystyrene, depending on the application.
Regardless of the application, SECURE T.R.A.C. tamper evident tape, provides an excellent deterrent to theft while securely sealing your carton. If entry does occur you will know about it before a bill of lading is signed and title passes.
When security personnel cannot be present SECURE T.R.A.C. provides all the protection you need to secure your unattended assets. Upon delivery of your goods it provides recipients with a simple visual template for inspection that can save your business from costly concealed losses.
